Tempest was founded in Recife, PE.

In 2003, in order to increase its share in the Brazilian market, Tempest made its spin-off from C.E.S.A.R. In the following year, in 2004, São Paulo’s office was opened.

In 2015, Tempest bought the company El Pescador and started activities in the area of ​​training, security awareness and phishing tests.

In 2017, Tempest announced FIP (EMBRAER Aerospace Fund) as its new shareholder. The operation marked a new phase for the company and reinforced its growth plan.

In 2018, Tempest acquired EZ-Security, one of the main Brazilian security technology integration companies. The deal expanded Tempest's operations, creating one of the largest specialized companies in cybersecurity in Brazil.

In 2019, Tempest sold El Pescador to KnowBe4, the world's largest integrated platform for security awareness training.

In 2020, Embraer, a global aerospace company headquartered in Brazil, partnered with Tempest - one of the largest investments ever made in this sector in Latin America.

In 2021, Tempest achieved a 45% growth in its revenue compared to the previous year, strengthening its position as one of the main specialized companies in the Brazilian cybersecurity market.

In 22 years, Tempest has helped protect more than 500 companies of all sizes and sectors, including large companies in the financial, retail, e-commerce, industries and healthcare sectors, working with national and international clients.
